This was a property we bought from the MLS. It was a nice house that needed to be updated on the first floor and the whole upstairs needed to be finished. It had been left unfinished since it was built in the 1950s! We added 2 bedrooms and a full bath on the second floor making it a 5 bedroom, 2.5 bath home. We used private money to fund the deal and tried out a new contractor. The new contractor didn't end up working out and cost us a lot of money in extra hold time and paying another contractor to fix his mistakes. A lesson learned is to cut your losses earlier because it won't get better as time goes on and will cost you more in the long run
