We acquired this house through a wholesaler. The house was a hoarder house and the elderly women who lived there had passed away. Her family had taken what they wanted and left plenty of treasures behind, including the refrigerator full of food that had been off for many months. The bones of the house including the walls, doors, trim, windows, tile flooring and bathroom were in great shape. We later found out the house had burned to the ground a few years prior and had been completely rebuilt. The elderly women had just never cleaned the house or removed the trash and like to acquire a lot of items. We cleaned, painted, added new carpet, and appliances. After adding some landscaping the house was back on the market. We found, funded, rehabbed and sold this home in just over 60 days. We had a hard money loan and gap funding from a family member.
