How to Make Home Buyers, Sellers & Lenders Love You

Written by Paul Esajian

Want to crank up the volume and make more money from real estate investing; make clients love you!

There are many great ways to market for real estate investing but generating referrals is business which is cheaper, easier to close, more profitable and makes sure your reputation stays shiny too.

In fact, making clients love you so much they send referrals could be the only strategy you need for pulling in all the real estate investing leads you need. So how do you do it?

4 Ways to Get More Lead Love

When clients and contacts love you they’ll love sharing you with others and this extends not just to home buyers, sellers and other real estate investors but to strategic partners and vendors too.

1. Don’t Sell

Don’t come across as a slimy salesperson, that’s just a turn off. Instead just be really passionate and excited about what you are doing and the results you are achieving for others. They’ll be selling you on letting them in on it.

2. Focus on Them

Forget how great you are and the mechanics of what you do. Focus on your prospect’s biggest fears and desires and how you can solve them, whether or not your product is the answer. You’ll gain a ton of respect and referrals even if you don’t close that client.

3. Be Good at What You Do

Unfortunately blind, unconditional love isn’t common between customers and real estate investing companies so be good at what you do and deliver on your promises. That will spur them to rave about you all on their own.

4. Build Real Relationships

When you get big you may not be able to personally do this with every prospect but you can create a culture and hire right to make sure it keeps happening. Building real relationships and connections with clients and partners outside of direct selling is incredibly powerful and will get you as close to unconditional love as it gets, which can really come in handy for those times you drop the ball.
