We purchased a 1920s row house, a 3/1, for $50,000. We sold the property to our son a for $160,000, just prior to becoming part of the FB community. We cashed out the cost of purchase and renovation in the transaction. We added a second bath, renovated the original bath, renovated the kitchen, removed the chimney, replaced all of the mechanicals, added a laundry, and insulated the house. After attending our first 3 day FB event, and reflecting on our past experiences, we realized we could improve and develop a business with their proven systems.
