We found the property through a local real estate agent. This was a foreclosure in the country on a one-acre corner lot. The property was purchased by a private money lender. A local bank provided the funds for the renovations of the project. This property needed extensive renovation both inside and out. There was lots of debris that had to be cleaned up before we could begin the renovation process. We also had to have a perk test for the new septic system with state approvals before we could begin. Due to the extensive water damage on the back wall of the property, 75% of the framing had to be replaced and reinsulated. This property is new from top to bottom. The outside of the property has new siding, insulation, windows, landscaping, whole yard has new grass seed and trimmed trees. The inside has a new kitchen, with new stainless-steel appliances, new flooring and paint throughout, new doors and trim, two new bathrooms, all new light fixtures, new heating and cooling system, new water heater, new septic system with an updated well. The property was sold to the first couple who looked at the house and gave us a little over asking.

If it would not have been for the Fortune Builders classes and coach's guidance, we would not have know where to begin with this extensive project.
