It took us 6 months and multiple negotiations to finally get them to agree on selling at the price we offered after they even decided to list the property on the market and couldn't sell it. On the day we have scheduled to close a car runs into the house and causes some serious damage to a very nice and easy rehab property. This actually worked on both mine and the sellers favor because we were able to get a price reduction to make it a better deal and the sellers got more money from the insurance pay off.
