The day we were leaving to head back to New York, the realtor had called us with a house that met our criteria and had just falling out of contract because the buyers couldn't get financing. We went to the house and made an all-cash offer which the seller accepted. My wife and I were super excited because this was our first rehab deal and it was 650 miles away from where we live. We knew we could make it happen and that's what we did. We took a 752 sq. ft. ranch, ripped the roof off and added a 2nd floor addition. We increased the square footage to 1800 sq. ft. and even built a 2 car detached garage. rn
