Originally I was showing this home to our contractor. He was going to purchase the home and renovate for his daughter. He decided to not purchase it so we did. It was a bank-owned property that took 3 months of negotiations to obtain. It's a small 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom home and we wanted to open it up as much as possible. We took out the wall between the kitchen and the dining room to open it up, squared off the wall between the dining room and the living room, put in a new kitchen and new bathroom, refinished the hardwood floors and squared off the main entry door. The basement needed a new floor and part of the wall was unstable so we repaired that and poured a new floor.
