We bought this property as a bank foreclosure for $450,000. Roof was coming apart and water intrusion had damaged the floors and walls quite extensively. We relocated a kitchen and bedroom to create more modern, open-concept flow to the room, and we got the right buyer into the property, walking away with a solid profit of almost $70,000. The road was definitely not a smooth one - we had to fire a bad contractor mid-project and the clauses in the contracts we pulled from Rehab Bootcamp really protected us from any potential legal ramifications. Glad we had the right systems in place from day one.
