We completed what he started, and added my own touches like completing the kitchen upgrade, custom cabinets in the half-bathroom and refinishing a massive wooden fireplace surround. I funded the deal with a hard money loan, plus my own funds. Within 24 hours after the property hit the MLS, we had 6 offers all above list price. We sold the property for 15% above list.
