A co-worker shared that they were in a domestic violence situation and needed a way out. They were able to purchase another property, however were unable to maintain both payments and needed assistance in selling their current home quickly. Ideally we would have loved to make a higher profit, however these types of distressed situations are true examples of why we joined this industry. We believe that it's a blessing to be a blessing, and our primary goal for this transaction was to help bring safety and stability to this client. rnWe responded quickly to prepare an offer and put the property under contract. During the contingency period, we completed our due diligence, including obtaining an Inspection Report. This Inspection Report resulted in SIXfold renegotiating to a lower offer, due to damages that were not discovered prior to the initial offer. The Seller agreed and we later completed the wholesale with an investor that we met at a local REIA meeting. The Seller was pleased and able to successfully transition into a healthier and safer environment.
