A 1,279 square foot home featuring 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths with a fire place in the living room. This project is located in the quiet South Shore of Freeport, just a short drive from the Nautical Mile and surrounded by a number of parks. rnWe found the property on the MLS. The deal was financed by an HML and Gap funding. The scope of work for this project consists of putting in everything from floors to ceilings brand new as the home was already completely gutted. Hardwood floors were placed throughout the home. A fireplace was restored and refaced. All insulation was put in and walls were sheet rocked and painted. Recess lighting installed through the living room and kitchen. The kitchen was installed with white shaker cabinets, granite counter tops and a breakfast bar was built to give more of an open concept. The boiler was converted to a wall hanging water tank/boiler unit. Both bathrooms were installed with nice tiling and the master bathroom with have a large glassed shower. The home was power washed and some minor landscaping was done giving it great curb appeal as state the art shower system. The back deck was sanded and painted to give it a refreshing look. The project took 8 weeks. We had a broker open house and a consumer open house. We received multiple offers at the open house over the list price and we accepted one of the offers.rnWhat was important about this deal was that this property was in a flood zone and doing our due diligence (checking with the building) to confirm the property did not have to be raised was critical.rn
