This was a HUD property. I put in an offer that was below the asking price. My Real Estate agent told me it would never get accepted. Another FortuneBuilders student Dan Tallman of 111 Properties who’s also a contractor helped guide us through the process.rnFor this rehab, we did a complete gut which included a new roof, siding, hot water tank, furnace, bathrooms and we even knocked down the chimney (that was fun). rnMy wife and kids helped out a LOT!! Every inch of the backyard was covered in poison ivy, all the way up the trees! My wife worked on that project for months! She also painted the basement floor 4-5 times until we got the water under control with new gutters and grading. rn
