We found this home via a seller’s response to our Craigslist ad. The manufactured home was located on land and was on a permanent foundation. We purchased the home for $53K. We used a loan from a local credit union, put 20% down and the seller paid $3K towards our closing cost. We gutted and rehabbed two full bathrooms and laundry room, some plumbing, and electric added new carpet and paint for $17K. We started marketing for renters halfway through rehab and had a renter waiting to move in when rehab was complete. The home is currently rented for $1,150 + all utilities.
