A full renovation was completed throughout both units with new kitchens, baths, flooring, windows, roof, and foundation. The extent of the renovations pushed the budget from $60K originally to over $112K. The property was tenanted and held for 14 months prior to selling to recoup costs. Ultimately, it was sold at a marginal profit with many lessons gained on how to minimize unnecessary renovation costs.
