This deal was a pocket listing bought through a realtor prior to the seller listing on the MLS. The deal was funded with hard money and a joint venture with Full Circle Homes, LLC. This 1926 home took a lot of time and expertise to restore the original character while integrating modern updates. One of our main goals was to save the original front door. We put a huge amount of labor into the preservation of the door by sanding, repairing, staining and working on the functionality of the original lock. There was a large pile of lumber we were told was harvested from the cut of the Blue Ridge Parkway. We took time to plane, cut and sand the raw wood to repurpose in the update of the home. Among items created were custom trim, custom shiplap, and custom shelving.
