This property was found off MLS for $165k. Our rock star agent sent us the lead one day and we were able to evaluate the property based on the pictures, comps and neighborhood details. We proceeded to make an offer, sight unseen, for $160k with a 3-day inspection contingency. The bank accepted our offer and we proceeded to then walk the property and inspect for repairs. We found major mold issues and other problems not show on the picture. We exercised our inspection contingency and lowered our offer to $145k. The offer got rejected. We followed the listing and noticed that 1 month and some days later, the property was still not sold. We asked our agent to make the offer again for $145k and the bank countered at $147k. We accepted their counter for $18k under listing price.
