Renellie was a deal we found through the MLS. Originally, my partner Sean Wetherington, who is an agent, had another buyer who was interested in Renellie as an investment property. Sean kept a close relationship with the agent of the seller and when the deal fell through with Sean's buyer, we came in as investors and purchased the property. We were able to get the sellers of Renellie out of a bad financial situation through our efforts. This deal was funded through Grand Coast Capital, our first deal/relationship with Grand Coast. The project was more of a cosmetic job. We did have to frame out a few spots where there was severe termite damage and we put a brand new roof on the property. Overall, we did cosmetic work on the kitchen, bathrooms, floors, minor electrical and plumbing work and removed the wall between the kitchen and living area for an open floor concept. This was a quick project and one of my favorites thus far.
How did the FortuneBuilders team and resources help you to accomplish this deal?
Accomplishing deals through the MLS can become quite difficult due to the mass amount of people who see the MLS. Fortune builders taught us that keeping close relationships with everyone we come in contact with is a MUST and we profited from this deal due to the relationship. More importantly, doing business with Grand Coast was amazing! They kept us on track with a payment schedule and on track with our contractor.
