One of these agents, who we have done multiple deals with, gave us a heads up on a multi-unit which was about the hit the MLS. He gave us the first opportunity to see this property before it was logged into the MLS and before anyone else could view it. This property is in a much sought after area and had two tenants already occupying the units, what sealed the deal was the fact both units were well maintained and large for being two bedrooms. There were some minor repairs that were taken care of by the seller prior to closing. Our agent told us that this property was listed at least $30k lower than other comps in the area, so we put in an offer for the listing price that evening.
