After joining FortuneBuilders Mastery for 7 months, we were yet to get our first deal. I decided to take massive actions by making calls to agents, my goal was to make 70 calls/week. And got a deal under contract in three weeks right after I started to commit to making the calls. This is our first deal, so we learned a lot of it. As soon as I had it under contract I posted on Facebook group to find buyers, and there were many that I sent info to, but none were interested. I was confident in my numbers and knew it was a great deal, so I was prepared to do the flip if I ended up not selling, but last minute on inspection day, I found a buyer, and sign assignment contract the next day. This deal took a month and a half to close because there were tenants in the house, and we made sure to include in the contract that we will be closed after the tenant moved out. We had to postpone the closing a few times.
