We found the deal through a big wholesaler in the area and funded it with hard money and personal liquidity. We did a whole bath and kitchen remodel with quartz countertops and all new fixtures. New electric panel was added as well as a laundry room. We painted all the rooms and used shiplap on one wall of the living room. This was our first property within 6 months of starting our Mastery program. We also got $10,000 more than our beginning after repair value.

Fortune Builders has helped by giving us the education to check the work of anyone helping us with any of our transactions. With the wholesalers, we were able to find our own comparables that gave us more peace of mind when we received the property from them. During our walk-through, the repair estimator helped by finding a surprisingly accurate estimate on most of our repairs. While we were trying to find our contractor for the project we talked with 5 different contractors to get estimates. Estimates varied greatly from one to the other. During our rehab, we used the repair estimator templates that were provided to get a lot of ideas and to account for everything that we were using in our project. This was helpful because we could do everything better next time. The closing was super easy thanks to our Real Estate Agent.
