I purchased a rental that needs to be rehabbed . The purchase price was $5,000.00 plus back taxes and closing costs for a total of $9,200.00. The property was valued at around $21,000.00. I am planning on rehab costs to be 30-40K. I funded the purchase with my personal money and am looking to get lending for the rehab. The unique issue with this property was the address had 2 parcels on it. This was found during the title search. The seller had purchased the property at a tax auction but only purchased the parcel the house and garage were sitting on. Landbank owns the other parcel and I have submitted paperwork to purchase it for $100.00.
