Wholesaler contacted us about a property he had under contract in Sarasota FL. We contacted the individual and decided on a time to meet at the property. When we arrived, the wholesaler mentioned that two other parties were also going to meet at the house for a tour. After our tour of the home and meeting the seller, we stated we were good with his sale price $210K of the original contract plus assignment fee of $25K. The wholesaler stated he had to give the other parties a shot at the property. Eric worked hard to establish a relationship with the wholesaler and explained our company in depth. He was impressed and stated he would touch base shortly. We waited at the property for the other investors to tour the home. Everyone wanted the property. The wholesaler came back to us as we waited at our truck. He said he would sell the contract to us because we were a PROFESSIONAL LOCAL Real Estate Company. Two weeks later, the same wholesaler contacted us and stated one of the parties interested in the house wants to talk to us about buying the contract from us. We contacted the interested party and negotiated with them, in the end, we assigned the contract to them for a $25,000 assignment fee.
