The deal was acquired through a private lender who foreclosed on a borrower and was offering it as a wholesale deal. The deal was funded through a fellow FortubeBuilders student who was looking to seek hands-on education by doing a deal. This particular rehab was a full gut with about 700sf addition, detached garage, and adding a pool. The home was located in a historic district, so the original structure had to follow historic preservation guidelines. The home was built to achieve a historic/modern design.
