This was a probate situation we found on the MLS in April, right after Covid 19 was starting to ramp up here. We found an agent willing to video a walkthrough for us, to be safe. After viewing the video, we decided to tour it in person and submitted our offer. The agent was very aggressive in the response deadline, so our offer was accepted less than 24 hours later. We made 3 major improvements to the home to bring it up to date and more functional. First, we removed the wall between the kitchen and living room to create a bright, open space. Second, we converted the 2 original bedrooms of the home into a master suite, adding a brand new bathroom. Third, we ran ductwork and added closets to the 2 bedrooms in the addition on the opposite side of the house, making them legal bedrooms. We also installed a large pantry, a driveway, and extended the concrete patio in the back.
