I offered full asking price of 195,000 but after inspections came back with a new offer price of 155,000 and we ended up settling on 157,000. This 90 year old house was a house on the historic presentation list and I was able to get the house approved for a tax credit for the new buyers for the next 20 years. We rehabbed this house from top to bottom with new electrical, plumbing, bathrooms, kitchen and deck.
How did the FortuneBuilders team and resources help you to accomplish this deal?
Getting the purchase price down almost 40k from the original asking price just goes to show that you should never be afraid to go back and renegotiate.
