We found the property ourselves (my husband) on realtor. We did major cosmetic repairs throughout the house with sheet rocking and painting the house. We refinished the floor downstairs and polished it. In the upstairs unit, we put laminate flooring throughout. We redid the bathrooms and replaced everything. The kitchen we opened it up a little and replaced everything as well. We painted exterior brick and power washed the exterior of the house. We refinished the enclosed deck as well, which was our sizzle feature of the house. The uniqueness of the property was the corner lot and had a beautiful enclosed deck. The lot size made the house very desirable along with a cape style with a 4/2 and finished basement, which isn’t very easy to find in the neighborhood. The last thing about the house that helped us sell so quick was the fact that it is in an incorporated village and on a quiet block.
