We acquired the property through one of our direct mail campaigns. I personally write all of our letters and outsource the fulfillment through click2mail. There were several investors looking at the property and the seller opted to work with us because, his words, 'I seemed like an honest fella'. There were a handful of other higher offers on the table but ultimately he chose ours. He also gave us first right of refusal to purchase a neighboring home he owns and lives in currently. rnrnThe goal from start to finish was to tear down and rebuild a new Craftsman style home on the lot. There is a lot of demand for a larger home in this particular neighborhood and we were the first to build in this price bracket. The home was listed and we hosted an open house along with a local Fortune Builders Mastermind meet up. The 'Plan' worked perfectly and there were so many people both buyers and other investors at the property that we received an over asking offer on the home within an hour. The urgency created by hosting the mastermind coupled with the open house was incredible. Since then we have 2 more being built and another acquisition in the works all within walking distance of this home. We now have a waiting list of buyers looking to purchase. The new homeowner even gave us a shout out on Instagram with semi-famous dog (16,000 followers ) where a Pike Properties Hat that we gave them at closing.

At this point in our career it's less about the resources provided but more about the mindset instilled in us from day one. Our systems have been created and we're continuing to refine as we have been taught and have taught others. One thing you can't replace however is growth mindset and attach yourself to like-minded individuals. That's exactly what we did at the open house/mastermind. Would we have sold the home anyway, yes we would have. However, I don't know if we would have had an over asking price offer in 1 hr. and the support and people to share in our excitement with on the spot.
