Before we joined Fortune Builders (March,2013) we purchased 2 properties to renovate and resell in Kansas City, MO. Needless to say, the first one went over budget and we ended up losing money. We decided to simply sit on the second property until we came up with a better strategy. Just last week we called a Kansas City local contact about wholesaling this second property. Not only is he working hard to put together a deal on the second property with us, he wants to move to Colorado and work with us as our Acquisitions Lead! DOUBLE BONUS on this--he comes with a network of private $$$$$$. Just remember, you never know where a situation will take you. Even those pesky clouds that you feel have no silver linings.
