I just wanted to "tip my hat" to Fortune Builders for how they take the high road in not talking bad about other people, organizations, or anyone in general really who has wronged them or talked bad about them. I admire that. At the local REI meeting we went to, we learned a lot and were able to network, but were really disappointed in how they badmouthed organizations who charged "X" amount of dollars to educate you. While I understood their point, some organizations DO take advantage of people, but not all, and it left a bad taste in my mouth to hear them put all R.E. educational organizations in the same category. Education IS worth paying for if it's a good one. They said we could learn the exact same thing through them in several meetings they hold monthly. I asked them how they educated their members other than the actual meetings, because we lived an hour and a half away and would only be able to make it to one or two meetings a month. Their answer: read books, research on the internet, find a local investor and see if we could tag along with him all day. While these might all work, they are things we could do on our own. Whereas with Fortune Builders, we have the education right in front of us, a coach guiding us, and a wealth of nearly unlimited information and experience at our fingertips. Joining Fortune Builders was a financial investment - a BIG one for us. But one we don't regret for a moment. Thanks, Fortune Builders, for always taking the high road!
