Here at FortuneBuilders we believe “if you want to change the world, be the change you wish to see in the world”
As a collective group our team members and students have come together for a deeper purpose and be part of something greater. Through FortuneBuilders Gives initiatives we’ve been able to make a massive impart in bettering the lives of those less fortunate, our surrounding communities and our society as a whole.

Highlights of 2013 FortuneBuilders Gives Initiatives

Rooftop Rally

FortuneBuilders Gives partnered with the Equal Footing Foundation (EFF) to host the Rooftop Rally. A sports-themed fundraiser, the event was our largest to date, raising over $20,000! EFF’s goal is to help underprivileged children lead more active and healthy lives. Their first activity after the fundraiser was providing new soccer gear and jerseys to a local high school. Watch the Fox5 report here!

Habitat For Humanity

Each year, FortuneBuilders sponsors a company build day with our local Habitat for Humanity. Fifteen Fortune Builders spent a Saturday getting hands-on experience building a home along side the future homeowners. Habitat is a great organization with the focus of creating homes for ownership by low-income families in need.

September Soldier Rally with Any Soldier.com

Tens of thousands of men and women serving overseas never receive any mail. They have to cope with the harsh conditions of serving overseas without signs of support from friends and family back home. FortuneBuilders held a letter writing campaign to send messages of support and gratitude to our soldiers in Afghanistan. In total we collected and sent 249 letters.

Movember Men Prostate Cancer

Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November with the goal of “changing the face of men’s health”. Many FortuneBuilder team members grew moustaches to support the cause. We ended the month with our November Rehab Bootcamp where we held a Movember fundraiser bringing in more than $5,000.

Ronald McDonald House

The Ronald McDonald House provides affordable housing for families of hospitalized children. FortuneBuilders partnered with RMH by hosting a food drive at our offices. With the donated items and purchased groceries, team members volunteered one evening preparing and feeding 200 people staying at the local Ronald McDonald House.

Oklahoma Tornado Disaster Relief Fund

Oklahoma families were devastated by numerous Tornadoes that ripped through the southern Oklahoma City area. Following the disaster we held a number of fundraisers across the country including our Marketing Bootcamp in Dallas. We partnered with the Red Cross and Salvation Army to accept the donations for their respective relief funds and raised over $11,000.

Adopt An Angel

For the third year in a row, FortuneBuilders Team members “Adopted Angels” through the local Salvation Army and were able to provide a very Merry Christmas with bikes, scooters, toys, clothing and educational items under the tree for dozens of children in need ranging from ages 2 to 14. A happy holiday is one filled with giving!

Realty National $50 Donation per Closing to FB Gives

Realty National is the exclusive brokerage for CT Homes and in keeping with the philanthropic spirit of FortuneBuilders Gives partners, the agents at Realty National donate $50 for each deal they close. Started in late 2013 they have already donated $1200!
