Creek Street was our first flip. We found this property after connecting with a wholesaler through their bandit sign. After presenting us the property we negotiated with them and purchased it on the last day of their contract with the seller. The deal was funded by an HML, PML and a loan from a 401K. This project was a real learning opportunity for us; we went through three general contractors and a couple of trade contractors. The rehab included fresh paint for the exterior and interior of the home, new flooring throughout the home and we also upgraded the fireplace tiles. New vanities were installed in both the hall and master bathroom, we also renovated one of the showers and renovated the kitchen. The rehab went over our estimated costs when it was all said and done, but we were able to sell it for top value
How did the FortuneBuilders team and resources help you to accomplish this deal?
The FortuneBuilders team was instrumental in our success with our Creek St rehab. Our coach, Bob Reed, crushed it on every call. He advised us throughout the process of construction methods and techniques. Towards the end of the project, we began working David Fair as well, who also crushed it every time. He helped us greatly with the sale of the property by giving us ideas for what would help us achieve our goal. Both Bob and David are tremendous assets and we are blessed to have them on our team!
