I had great coaching on contracts. When I ran into contractor quality issues and had to redo work, I was able to stop contract and move on. I did not make profit on this deal mainly due to the rework from bad contractor, but lesson learned. I also was about to use my extended contacts fellow Investors and Realtors to get good contractors to help me close out deal and get asking price.
