This is an 1889 building locateed in down town Palatine. There are restaurants, bars and shopping in walking distance. A small grass park is located near by and just blocks from the train station. We were getting ready to bid on the building when we were informed there was another bid, ugh. We did not will the bid, ugh. The first bidder got cold feet because there were foundation issues - :) we were well aware of the issues with the building. The bid was awarded to us !!!!

How did the FortuneBuilders team and resources help you to accomplish this deal?

We were able to use the tools on the website to put the deal together. Because this was a mixed use building it was a little different than our residential flips we have been chasing. Our coach Tammer Hefnawy has been encouraging us to use the Real Estate coaches. Our immersion coach stressed not to be intimidated with foundation issues. Victor Alves, our Real Estate coach, who we have built a relationship with reviewed this deal and said this is a really good deal. We probably have 20 bids out on homes right now and although the coaches continue to stress to check on your bids if the houses do not sell I will add some additional insight. The market is coming in very strong for the Spring. We are adjusting a previous bid due to the new market information and have been told on Monday our bid is going to be re-considered as the only other bid has a contingency.
