We found this deal with one of our realtors via the MLS. We self funded the puchase and worked with a local hard money lender for the rehab. This was a bank owned property that had multiple offers on it. Ours was accepted because it was a strong cash offer that waived inspection, took the property as-is, and offered to close as quickly as the bank would permit. It was a full gut rehab of a 1920's classic Chicago bungalow.
