We found this home on the MLS for $205,900 and funded it with a loan. The house had some older characteristics that we loved and wanted to just emphasize its charm while also updating and modernizing the parts of the home that needed it. We found spectacular original hardwood floors hiding under the carpet; therefore, we did not let it go to waste and simply refinished them. The kitchen was totally remodeled to be more modern and and we upgraded the original appliances with stainless steel ones. We also finished the basement that was only half finished with drywall and new carpet. The whole home got a fresh coat of paint inside and out as well as a white picket fence to give it a little more character. We were able to sell this home to a happy couple for $299,900.
