We found this estate sale on the MLS from the original owners who were looking to sell quickly and possibly avoid bank lenders. This was a perfect situation for us! We used our private money lender to fund the purchase. The house overall was in good condition but needed a complete renovation and some serious updating. The home was located less than 10 minutes from where we live and provided us with a unique opportunity to be more involved than usual. Everything was completed from the time of purchase to the closing in 4 ½ months. We knew the location of the home, school district and the rehab work we would complete would provide for a good resale, however, we did not expect to the home under contract in 10 days!
