This was a bank-owned property listed on the MLS, we were the backup and second in line on this deal. The first offer fell through because they couldn't get finance and we were able to purchase the property because we could pay cash. Repairs done on this property: We painted inside and outside, redid the kitchen and repositioned it, put in new granite counter tops, new appliances. We redid the bathrooms, put in new lights throughout the house. What was unique about this deal was that we started offering the buyers $1000 towards inspection repairs so that they accept the $1000 and do the repairs themselves. This worked very well and helped us to sell this house a lot quicker.
